Okay there have been a large number of weird stories this week. Just when I thought the frozen sourkrout on the Autobahn was the most bizarre, I found this picture.

I was just getting over last night when our receptionist casually mentioned that she was going for the Giants. I should be OK by tomorrow.

Since yesterday was so nice, I decided to take a stroll along the shore of Rondeau Bay - and to my utter shock, what did I see? As I live and breathe, there sat Chatham Chuck sunning himself! What a treat! He scurried away mere seconds after I snapped this pic but I’m sure he’ll be back out tomorrow with a prediction for winter. What will it be? Six more weeks of winter or an early spring? Only the shadow knows for sure. Talk to you in the morning. Happy Groundhog Day in advance.

Super Bowl weekend is fast approaching. The big question isn’t where are you watching the big game or even who will be there with you. Oh no the big question is what FOOD will you be eating. I found 6 very tasty looking Deli Stadiums, have a look!
Many of you will recall the young man who proposed to his girlfriend on the air on UCB Canada on New Year’s Eve. He was supposed to get in touch with me to let me know how it went. Days went by. Then weeks. Nothing. I suspected the worst but thought I’d follow up anyway. I tracked him down at his parents’ business in Blenheim and found out she said “YES!!!” Apparently, it was a resounding yes (tears and everything) and they’re getting married this Saturday - yep, February 4 - in a private family wedding service. Phew! All’s well that ends well. Thought you’d like to know.
