You’ve heard the song… “bring us some Figgy Pudding” Ever had Figgy Pudding? I sure haven’t and wouldn’t even know it if I saw it, so I looked it up. I was shocked to learn that it’s not even a pudding after all, closer than “Black Pudding“ I might add. ”Figgy Pudding” is actually a spice cake-like soufle made with Figs and Walnuts.
I also got to thinking about other holiday treats I’ve not had the pleasure of trying. Do you have any Christmas recipes I could try?

The Chatham-Kent Children’s Services Christmas Project will end on Friday this week and there are still some kids who need to be adopted. I thought with all the nonsense in professional sports these days (the NBA, Penn State, Michael Vick’s salary, NHL sex abuse, etc), I thought this was worth another viewing. Enjoy it.
