Terry Fox Run September 18, 2011

The Terry Fox Run for cancer research has run every year in Canada since September of 1981, just two months after this young hero’s death. This year will be no different. There will be runs in Chatham, Wallaceburg, Tilbury, Dresden and outside of Chatham-Kent but still close by in Tecumseh and Windsor. You can download a pledge form and register at your preferred location at www.terryfox.org.

“Because HE Loves Me”

“Because HE loves me” is a women’s conference coming to Wallaceburg next month. Kathy Regnier joined us this morning to talk about the conference at 1st Baptist Church in Wallaceburg. I chatted with Dave Drouillard from the United way this week on the “Rise & Shine” Morning Show. He mentioned they still need a number of people with video cameras to serve at videographers for this Saturday’s Amazing Race. They will feed you and you get to hang out with a pair of racers for the day. Sounds like a lot of fun!
